Guys:

With all you 03 owners out there, seems like someone ought to have gone by their friendly neighborhood dyno to see what the real RW HP/TQ numbers are.

Anyone got the numbers yet?

We flogged one in Spokane

It was an H. O. and it did about 260 hp (On a dynojet). Don't remember the torque, but I'm sure someone else will chime in.

I was guessing 270 - 280 HP

Sounds good... I guessed the numbers would be in that range. boy, those BOMBing dyno numbers are wicked. Looks like you '03 guys might be tempted to bust those warranties now.

Have fun,

We dynoed one that Dishman Dodge brought to Diesel Thunder in Spokane. The results were 262 HP and 482. 2 Torque. This was a HO/6 speed. This was a brand new truck with only a few miles on it.

DISHMAN DODGE???

Big Bob,

Are you sure that one came from Dishman Dodge? My dad (BBean) was at the Kellogg Showdown and afterwards when he went to Dishman w/ his 97 2500 to ask some ?'s, they asked him where he had seen an '03 and said that they weren't going to get them for several more weeks. Granted, this was mid-August...

Diesel Thunder was on September 7th. The truck came from Dishman Dodge in Spokane, Washington. There is no doubt about this!

one of the keys in my mind about the common rail engine is fuel injection pressure of about 23000 #'s this gets more fuel in for the combustion event makeing it more effiecient and more power
