Anyone else get this e-mail?

Looks to be scam of some sort to me.

Due to concerns, for the safety and integrity of the online

banking community we have issued this warning message



It has come to our attention that your account information needs

to be updated due to inactive customers, fraud and spoof reports.

If you could please take 5-10 minutes out of your online experience and renew

your records you will not run into any future problems with the online service.

However, failure to update your records may result in your account suspension.

This notification expires on August 10, 2004.



Once you have updated your account records your internet banking

service will not be interrupted and will continue as normal.

I have gotten similar.



I got one yesterday to update my account info on Ebay. It looked legit.

I got it to. The link pointed to an IP address with no URL. The website has been shut down.

Yea I got it. Total BS, deleated it.

I got it as well. From both US Bank and E-bay. I contacted both and they both said they did not know of anything being sent out.

Too bad we can't send the IP address a super powersurge that would leave it a smoking pile of rubble on thier desks. They don't need a computer, if that's how they use one.
