Have any of you guys or any one you know ever had to replace a PCM on a 47RH equipped truck because the TPS voltage wasn't within spec and therefore the TC wouldn't lockup?

Or put another way, has anyone ever replaced a PCM to correct the issue of total failure of the TC to lockup?

Just for grins and giggles... did you attempt to install a lockup switch to see if the problem really is the pcm, or farther down the line? That would be a good place to diagnose. .

as for the pcm failing like that, I havent heard of it but I guess its possible. I just installed a relay-type mystery switch with a momentary on the other end, and man does it work niiiice...

good luck

Hey, thanx for the tip.

Can you suggest any threads discussing this relay-type mystery switch with a momentary on the other end???
