Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Anyone ever have a vacuum pump break??

Well mine did yesterday :{ The coupling where it joins the power steering pump just sheered right off. mmmm Now I am wondering what made this break??????? Any Ideas

Had the same thing happen to me..... ever figure out the cause? Mine was idling for about 20 minutes while I was loading stuff in the truck. When I was ready to leave, I hopped in the truck and realized I had no oil pressure and saw a puddle on the ground. I don't know how long the truck was running after it broke.
