While doing my starter tonight I took inventory of the fuel system from below and this is going to need some attention in the near future. Nothing horrible, but everything is kinda slimy and wet and it looks all original. But, the worst is where the handle/bleeder valve is for draining the water/fuel. When open, the fuel just pours out at the valve where it meets the body, but not all comes through the valve, a good portion is from around the it. I think the O-rings are shot. Anyone had this problem or had to replace this part?

I'm sure that at one time you could buy an o-ring kit for it. You could also easily convert it to the spin on 94-96 style by simply changing the head and threaded stud from Cummins. The lines all fit. Shadrach

When faced with similar leaks and a broken drain lever, and after finding that these filter bowls and parts were unobtainable, I decided it was a good opportunity to go for the Prime-Loc Filter Re-locator from Geno's. I've used it for a couple of years, and am well pleased.

Nick.
