Subject says it all. Looking to ride along with someone from the MD area to OK area. I have to pick up my new truck that is going to replace my totaled truck from Mark Roberts Motors in Bartelsville, OK.

Willing to pay for food, drinks, fuel and share in the driving. The ways things have been going lately I really don't want to get on an airplane, but I will if I have too.

I was going to drive out and pick up the truck and tow my Ford back on an U-Haul auto transporter. My Ford has a 125" WB and the U-Haul people tell me that is too long for the transporter. I guess I could pull it on a tow dolly but I have never been a big fan of tow dollies.

Anybody have any suggestions on how to handle the situation.

Thanks,
Dave

Ummmm..... Amtrak?? #ad
Hey, at least you could enjoy the GM/EMD or GE (ex Cooper-Bessemer FVBL) diesels during the trip. #ad

Seriously, good luck in finding a ride. Glad you were able to find a truck - wish I could. #ad
