Hi. Yesterday my radio says I need to schedule and update but in the mean time my radio, backup camera or GPS doesn’t work.
Damn FCA!
I keep rescheduling it but it still is screwed up! I’m posting a picture of my radio.

There is a new STAR case about radio upgrades but I'm not sure it applies to your truck. It says pull radio fuse for 20 minutes, then cycle key on and off two times. Certainly can't hurt to try.

Today I programmed it for one minute later and it did the upgrade (I guess) ! The radio, back up camera and GPS works again. Yaaaa!

Yes, lot's of problems with the update installation. The update was done over the cellular network and depending on coverage in your area, download times could vary wildly. The same thing happened to my truck here in Alaska. I lost functionality of many of my radio controlled functions and only after several heated phone calls with customer support did it "magically work". A forced update, over a network that can have questionable quality is a recipe for problems. The customer support folks even offered a manual update procedure for me to follow and upon trying it, the system told me the update was "older than software currently installed". Pretty messed up on Chrysler's end if you ask me. Very poor roll out.

I have the same issue on my 2013 3500 DRW. Programmed a time for the update, but no indication anything happened. Also, the clock is wrong (around a half hour off). This started on Sunday (first day back on standard time). I’ll try the fuse/key cycle trick when I get home today.

We get a similar message on our 2017 Pacifica and have tried to schedule several times. Dealer said to try to schedule it for 10:00 at night and park outside which I have done. If I put our vin on the drive u connect website it says no updates are available. I may try pulling the fuse for 20 minutes next.

I got mine working by scheduling it for just minutes later. It worked! It took but five minutes to do! Try it!

For you folks having problems with the update, make sure you lock the doors with the parking brake set and make sure the key fob is at least 50’ from the truck. Other than that, good luck.

I got that message that’s in the OP in the ‘14 Durango, and for about 2-3 trips the whole uconnect system was flaky (maybe it was updating in batches?) but now it’s fine.

Sometime while I was running errands yesterday the annoying message disappeared and the radio started working again (with the correct time displayed), so all is good (even though there is no indication of what exactly took place).

Had this happen back in the fall, and again about a week ago. No problem with B.U. Camera, but radio, phone features, GPS system, and clock all went down. Last fall, did the time choice option, day later, got the message again. Did again, same again. Third time it worked. A week ago, got the same message again, this time did immediately. About an hour later, everything was working but the clock. Set the clock manually, been working good since.

I had to do a manual update on my 2014 because the OTA never worked. Go to the following link and you can see if there's a manual update for your vehicle.

JJJ,
You have to be careful with doing the manual update... My software, (that needs to be updated) is from 2016, version 16.13.13 and the only way it can be done is by taking it to the dealership and having them do the update at a cost of $85. I was told by uconnect that if I were to try to do the manual update it could potentially "fry" the entire radio system and a replacement radio would be several hundred dollars. So I guess I am going to have to take it to the dealership and let them do it. Ugh!!!
