We've been looking around to upgrade our older, but thoroughly fine, TT. We've looked at a batch of different ones, but the one that has a floor plan most suited to what we like is a Pilgrim. Don't know anything about them. It is nice in that it has a nice slide out and bunks, plus a 60 gallon fresh tank. Great for those extended dry camps. Has anyone had any experience with this brand? TIA

I have the Open Road 318RLDS TT, bought it in August of 2004. It's made by the same people who make the Pilgrim line. I think the Pilgrim is aluminum over a wood frame, the Open Road is fiberglass over an aluminum frame.

They have a lot of nice features but the prices are starting to creep up since I bought mine. E-mail me and I can give you more details.

Thanks for the reply, Russ. We ended up going with a Wildcat by Forest River. We got the 29BHS and will pick it up on Wednesday! It is glass over aluminum. Nice unit. Our first "shakedown" will be a two week trip up to Washington. Not exactly the way I should do it (closer to home would be smarter  ), but vacation was already planned. Happy camping!
