Looking for anyone with a Road Armor front replacement bumper. Prowler or Stealth series model. Called and talked with Road Armor and all they could tell me was to look on their website, thats the only pictures they had. For the price theirs no way I would buy one of their bumpers without seeing enough pictures to convince me of one or seeing one in person. Looked through the readers rigs and couldnt find any except what I think was John Dishong's, which is also on the Road Armor website I think. Any pics would greatly be appreciated. Road Armor bumpers can be seen at. Road Armor Four of those trucks are diesels, whose are they

I don't have one yet, but when I saw the website, I now want one. I like the looks much better than the DOR. They are made here in the Seattle area, so if you need me to check out the place, just say so. Oo.

Hey, I would like a replacement bumper also, so would anyone be interested in going together and seeing if we might get a group discount?? If so, just let me know.

The prices are listed on their website. I think one model was $995, and the other $1495. They have additional options available as well.

Ok, the dang thing isn't going to cooperate today. I'll give you the web address on the TRUCK FARM, when you get there click on come in. Then click on BUMPERS, then click on SUPER CRAFT INC. , They have several style and are priced fairly competitive. Check it out and let me know what you think. I am going to get some sort of front bumper, and I am also going to put one of those MILEMARKER 1200 LB WINCHES IN IT , they are on sale now for only 599. 00. www.truckfarm.com

Thats something I was going to point out as well y-not. Like metal tech said, he preferred the stealth series, but theres tons of different options you can get for the stealth series. I like the Prowler series myself, so in order to do a group purchase everyone would have to agree on the same style I would assume.

Looks like a stout bumper with a really competitive price. If you find any pictures of them mounted then post them so we can see em. I personally like the more plain and simple 10" style 1

EDIT: this is in referral to y-nots Super Craft bumper to clear that up. I still like the Road Armor though :D

I love the look of the Road Armor Stealth (with all the goodies) and they look like they are well made.

I have one on my 3500

Yes I have one. I went with the Stealth. I bought Road Armor because they are different that everybody else, so I don't think you should do a group purchase:p .

I just hit a Toyota 4runner and scraped about a six inch area before doing a job on the rest of the passenger side of the truck.

They are stout. They Fit. And they are easy to mount. Be prepared to dig deep for any changes or adds to the base bumper.

Any one have a road armour on a stock truck?? They look real nice on a lifted truck with big nasty tires, but how do they look on a stock height truck with stock tires?? My only other question is how do you even change the oil with the big ole brush guard sticking out a foot in front of the truck???

The Bumpers come standard without the bar. Thats why I said you would have to dig deep for the extras. Mine is just the base bumper and yes, there is a lot of tire exposed looking at the front, thats why I bought a more aggressive tread this time around. My truck is not lifted. If you like I will email you a picture. The only ones I have are after I hit the 4runner.

I have one, It is stout and overall very nice design. I did not like the service. The bumper came about 12 weeks late, I ordered it without the winch option, YES it came with a big hole for the winch. The power coating was the poorest quality that I have ever seen for power coating. It did not fit quite right. I had to do a lot of bending and grinding on the frame horns. Last but not least, there is no room if the frame flexes it will break the turn signal lights or bend the fenders. All for only $1400. Good luck Paul

kingsbury,

That's bad news. I think that the Stealth version without the upper structure is the best looking of all the aftermarket bumpers. I like how they drop down in front of the grill and mostly I like how they don't stick as far forward as most do. Bumpers that extend forward a lot look pretty weird on our trucks when viewed from the side, IMO.

The search continues. I really like the John West bumper. I wish they were closer so shipping was not as expensive. The bumper itself is very reasonable and looks good.

The Ranch hands and other "Jungle Gymn" type bumpers are too big and too heavy for my taste.

A simple replacement with more strength and toughness, fitting with the same contours as the stock tin foil!
