anyone have pictures of 2nd gen. dash pod installed?

im lookin into putting a triple dash pod on my 01. can anyone put up some pictures of there pods? any thoughts or comments would be greatly welcomed. i looked into 9 pages on the search and couldnt find exactly what i was looking for, a good shot perhaps from the drivers sight of view. or a shot showing the pod and the inst. panel. thanks to any one who can help in any way. carl

I got an '01 QC and installed mine 2 weeks ago (tri-pod pillar). When I get home this afternoon, I will post some pics. I am on dialup at home (jut built a house and cable company hasn't reached us yet wiht high speed; be another few weeks) therefore, I may have to sacrifice image quality but should still give you a good idea of what it looks like.



Personally, I've read where people have said they interfere with vision, but I have found that it hasn't affected me at all. I noticed that the pillar seems 'closer' to me when I'm driving (because it kinda of 'sticks' out at ya), but doesn't really distract me while driving.

I worked late last night so I didn't get to post the pics. I see that others have, but I will post mine anyway. My EGT gauge is not hokked up at the moment, but the FP and Boost gauges are. The last pics shows the Boost line, and the FP sending unit attached to the chrome Fuel Filter cap (got both from Geno's. ) I think that the cap was around $45 or so, and I think it adds a little dress up look to the engine compartment. Which, by the way, does anyone have any links/information on where/how to get chrome engine dress up parts for the CTD? Thanks.

Hey there is someone posting in this forum about the steering pod ya may want to check that out too as it gives you just one more spot to stuff a guage for that sick 747 look and feel Which quite honestly R-N-R has one of THE best Night pics going MAN THAT'S Cool!
