Looking for information on Skyjacker lift kits. Contenplating using the Skyjacker 4. 5" classII double flex system with softride rear leaf springs. Just wanted to hear from others that installed simular lifts on their trucks. How do they like it? Did you install it yourself? if so was it complete and were the instructions acurate? How do you like the lift now that it is installed? Any problems? Would you do it again? Thanks

I did have that very kit on my truck. Irt was fine except for the feedback and harshness of the heim joints.

If it's a street driven truck, go for the standard poly bushings. If you need massive flex, do the heims, rebuild as necessary and put up with the noise and popping.

If I were going to lift it that high again, I would consider a long arm kit. Actually, I really like DTs setup. More predicable caster curve and can handle much rougher/ tougher terrain at speed.
