Hello ANicklas

check out this post DSE IN TRUCKS 04/05 CTD.

I started this about 2 years ago.

They make it sound easy and will it is to a point.

Yup, that fuel is something you make if you want to destroy your fuel system in a few thousand miles. Have a friend that toasted a couple VW jettas with this fuel.

Reading some of the old DSE threads... . something like 20 parts SVO/WVO + 2 parts kerosene + 1 part gasoline + 1 part crack juice or something like that... . definitely not something I'd put in my tank.

Hello all,

I used the DSE blend in my 96 CTD for over two years and 90,000 miles without any trouble and am now running it in my 04. 5. The new truck doesn't like it at 100% but runs great at 70% DSE to 30% #2.

Just my 2 cents

For some reason the VW diesels are real touchy with fuel. I've logged quite a few miles running DSE mix fuel & lots of gasoline through my '98 and so far zero problems. I'm pulling the injectors this weekend to see how they look. I do analysis on my engine oil when I change it and so far so good, even going 15,000 miles between changes (no bypass filter either).

I have been running DSE about 3 years in 3 different dodges and no trouble so far. My o3 doesn't like it 100% but other wise it works fine.
