Hey yall,

Anyone here located in Aubrey, TX with an AlpaOBD that can help me adjust my TPMS settings?

I got in my truck this morning heading to work and after about 10 miles the tire light flashed for probably a mile and showed service TPMS system but is still displaying all the tires and pressures. I also checked all my tires and found no nails anywhere.

I've even checked the pressures manually in each tire and they all read 75psi. They are showing 77psi in the front and 81 in the rear on the dash so maybe that is the issue. I have an appointment with discount this morning at 915am to see if they can get them fixed but I have a trailer with me and there lot is smaller near me at Midpark and 75 in Dallas.

Just hoping someone near by can help me this afternoon if Discount can't fix the issue.

On a 2012 the batteries may be starting to get weak and it has intermittent signal. Need to read the codes and see what you have.

There are the codes that discount pulled. Decided to drop the pressures to 50psi front and 45psi rear and set the light load. Drove about 5 miles and it all cleared up. Going to keep this way for a few days and see what changes.

The way the WCM/RFH knows the tire position is by the direction of the sensor rotation (pass side CC, driver side CW) and the strength of the signal. You can still read pressure regardless of position as the pressure is tied to the sensor ID, but the sensor and WCM/RFH have to be working correctly to determine sensor location. It needs to locate each time the truck is driven because the WCM/RFH does not know if you rotated tires since the last drive. More than likely a bad sensor or weak battery, which still means new sensor.
