Looks interesting. Anyone installed one? Is the kit that comes with it complete? How does it seem to perform? If you have not seen one, check out the link below.

Raptor Lift Pump

Thanks in advance.

I have installed several of them. I'm installing one tomorrow. everything you need comes in kit. 1/2 1nch hose from tank to stock fuel filter. plus wiring , and instructions. I like it myself.

I prefer the mechanical pumps... All electronic pumps fail. . Mechanical pumps just get weak and they will last up to 1 million miles. I have no problem with electronic pumps for race or off Road, Weekend or Competition use, They work good for auxiliary filtering. DD use No way without backup pump. Diesel Transmission Technology - DTT Performance Diesel Transmission and Power Accessories

And just the opposite, I prefer electric over mechanical. Aftermarket mechanical may last a good long while, but OEM mechanical is crap and OEM elecric almost always surpasses mechanical in OEM conditions. Problems can and will evolve with any product at one point or another though.

My Glacier Walbro lift pump has been installed for 90,000 miles and still maintains pressure at 19-21 psi with ease. When I see it averaging around 15psi constant, then I know it is time to change the Baldwin PF7977. I go off of pressure for filter change intervals.

What cha mean... I have seen OEM mechanical Pumps last 1 million miles, heck the OEM electric pumps have been less problematic then the Aftermarket electronic pumps. Its to the point I will not even offer the Pumps anymore the hassle is NOT worth it.

I have the Raptor 150 have had it on for 30k miles ,Other than it being noisy I have had no problems also lifetime warranty is nice . I'm gonna move it to the back corner under the bed to quiet it . If you get the Raptor 100 should be quieter. The kit comes complete ,it will take about 3-4 hrs to install goes pretty easy though.

If and when my Walbro fails, and then my "under the backseat" spare fails, I will go with the Raptor.
You can pick up a replacement walbro if you look around for $100 and have it as a spare. Why bother blowing $400 and chang out everything again?

I have a spare under my back seat... I purchased at fuelpumpsusa for around $100.

If I still own this truck when both Walbros have expired, I will go with Raptor, not because the Walbro is not worthy, it just has my truck's horsepower hamstrung @ 670hp. Which actually I am very satisfied with! So maybe a 3rd Walbro :-laf.

I'm a dumdum. I didn't read your post closely enough. Haha. Totally understand what you are saying now.

I would not refer to a fellow Walbro user as a dumdum :).

As far as not reading entire posts/threads... I have responded to the first page of a thread, not realizing there were 2 additional pages that had already covered the subject my comment pertained to .

I guess if we were perfect we would have purchased the Raptor to begin with :-laf, however they were not available when I needed a replacement.

I installed my Rapter lift pump last summer. Best thing i did for the truck ! Very easy install , specially wilth the quick connect fittings .

Well I just found out the "lifetime" warranty may not be all it's cracked up to be. Pump died in the middle of nowhere last night driving through Oklahoma. Limped home and called Pureflow first thing this morning, was told I need to disassemble the pump myself and try to determine why it failed before they will warranty it, OK but now I'm down another day if under my expert opinion that the pump has failed and needs to be replaced. Thought I had bought a good product with a good warranty, guess not. I hope TV and DVD player companies don't adopt the same philosophy.
