Anyone interested in a ARK-LA-Tex chapter?

Just wondering if anyone in the East Texas area would be interested in forming a chapter?



Maybe meet in Longview. Thinking maybe folks from Tyler, Longview, Shreveport, Nacogdoches/Lufkin, Texarkana and surrounding areas.

Hello! Each of you have responded in some way to my post here concerning an East Texas group. Thanks for the interest!



I think we may be able to make this work with a little effort. Where do we go from here? I was thinking of maybe having a buddy of mine make a nice flier we could hand out to any other CTD owner we run across as we are out and about East Texas.



I am thinking in our normal travels to get fuel, groceries, Wal-Mart/Target, or the Mall we could place the fliers on CTD's we see. Maybe refer them to this website and give a contact e-mail locally (mine is fine).



What do you guys think? I am open to any and all suggestions you may have. After we get a few more people interested then schedule a meeting.

Sounds good to me about the fliers. If you do get them made up, scan and e-mail me a copy and I will print out some colored copys on my printer to give out. In our area there are lots and lots of Cummins' so I can stop and put them on their windshields or give them one if they are present.



There is also a Diesel Performance Shop that is off of Hwy. 69 in Emory. Thats straight up Hwy. 69 from Tyler. I will be swinging out that way here in a few weeks to check them out and try to dyno my 12V and can leave some fliers with them too. I just heard about them the other day. www.dieselhotrods.com

I just spoke with the shop in Emory about a B&W turnover ball for my truck. They are fine with passing out some fliers at their shop.

Yeah Jim at Performance Diesel is a nice guy had some dealings with him a while back installed my gauges. Does a good job. Email me a copy of the flyer when you get it up and ill make some copies too. Later down the road might think of some stickers or a shirt to help with the advertisment or something? I think the more we meet and pass out flyers it might get a little bigger.
