Mo' deal advice.
Yeah,if you can get a local dealer to cooperate, that's definitely the way to go. Your aforementioned dealers, plus Jack Powell did not or could not afford to match DSM. My DSM deal was $1665 under invoice minus rebates. Jack Powell offered me invoice on an existing '06 but it was not equipped the way I wanted it. The current fuel price fiasco has me wondering if I'll be able to keep a truck that sits six out of seven days. Dodge diesels are one of AAA's most costly rigs to insure. In the event of an accident, the other party invariably loses their vehicle by being totaled or loses their life. Thirdly, replacement intercoolers, radiators etc. are super expensive.Baja,
Carl Burger and Cal Worthington are the typical loss leader, rip off artist type of Dealer. I speak from experience. I even filed a complaint against Carl Burger with DMV. Years ago, I bought mine in Poway and my brother in law bought his special order from Hines in Mission Valley, both good experiences. The other way to go in SD is New Cars Inc. They do fleet deals via local credit unions and can get anything you want. A coworker of mine bought a Charger with them.
