Engine/Transmission (1998.5 - 2002) Anyone Know the Thread Size of the 5-Speed Shifter Base?

Hey guys, a fellow member is making a custom shifter for me and needs to know the specific thread size for the base. He says his six speed is a 14mm by a 2. 0 pitch and didn't know if the 5-speed was different.



Anyone got any ideas?

Pretty sure its the same lever Hans, just 1 less gear selection noted in the pattern. :-laf

Well it is an entirely different transmission, Mark! :-{} Geez, you undervalved guys... :-laf

Well yeah the transmission's different, but as far as the gear shift lever I doubt it is. If you want to know for sure call somewhere like Quad 4x4. #ad
