This weekend when making a long trip to Bristol TN towing the 5er I noticed some type of fluid on the right front suspension. It was dripping in the same place the a/c water normally drips. Right front pasenger side. After looking at it for a while I found the source. It is a hose that has a strange plastic fitting in one end and lays on the passenger side wheel well about the location of the stock air box. The other end goes to something mounted on the passenger side of the front axle. The fluid appeared to be gear oil?? Is this the front axle air vent? Do I need to be concerned? should I just check the front differential fluid level?

It is the breather tube for the front axle, some times they will over fill your frontend, once the fluid gets hot it will expain and that where it will come out. I don't think you need to worry about it, mine does the same thing when i change the fluid.

ski2 is right! My truck did the same
thing the last time I had the fluid
changed. I moved my hose a little
farther up into the engine compartment
and that seemed to help!
