I am interested in possibly using Lubrication Engineers 607 gear oil in my rear axle when I install my Maghytec cover. My question is: Does anyone know of a dealer or supply house that carries it here in the midwest (Milwaukee, WI)? I know it is available directly from Maghytec, but it would be nice to try and find some locally instead of paying the shipping charges and having to wait. I called LE today, but got disconnected twice before I got a answer:mad: . Thanks in advance.

Let your....

fingers do the walking. They are located in the East bay of sanfrancisco, I think, and will give you the number of your closest dealer. You might try a local GOOD speed shop and ask them. It's popular stuff in racers.

Watch the 607 in cold weather

While the LE 607 probably is not any worse then the straight 90Wt the factory puts in with cold temps, for about the same money and oil quality you could get something that does better in colder weather.

If you never drive in temps below zero I doudt there is any issue.

While all the wear information is good at higher temps, I still think alot more damage can occur because of the lack of lube because of low flow or no flow in cold temps. Both engine and gear boxes.

Leave a few bottles out overnight when cold to see for your self.
