Black wheels!!! Oooooh. Daddy like!

I converted a Nissan pickup from gas to diesel for a friend and the used TD23 engine he purchased from Japan that came in Terrano's and other trucks not sold in the USA has stuck injectors. I can see the pintle on 2 of them stuck up in the injector so it needs a minimum of 2 injectors but I will put all 4 in if I can find a place that sells them. Anyone have any ideas? Someone told me that the TD27 in forklifts are exactly the same engine with just a little more displacement.

If the ones from the TD27 forklift engine will work, I can get them for you. I need to get gaskets (copper washers) for under the injectors for a TD27 in a customers forklift and can check on the price of the injectors for it if you like. Also, we use a place called "Testmasters Of Augusta" in Augusta, Ga. to rebuild injectors, pumps, and turbochargers. They also can modify (bomb)injectors.

The Nissan forklift part number for the Nissan TD27 injectors is 16600-43G22. Hope this helps!

John,

Thanks for the response. I will be at the PRI show tomorrow thru Saturday in Orlando and have to come back to this project when I get back. This truck and project that Im working on is a favor for a close friend so I want to try and get him his truck befor xmas. I think there is a forklift place in St Pete and I will see if they can quote the inj's from the numbers you gave me next week.

Many thanks,

Glenn

We just bought a TD23 equipped nissan pickup at auction. It needed glow plugs, and believe it or not all 4 of them were bad. Picked them up at Napa, they had to order them in (those diesel engines are far from common). Try them out, they should be able to get them for ya. If not, a foreign diesel repair shop should. Lots of industrial equipment uses little jap engines.

Where did you get that pickup? I want one like that!

We found it at a farm auction in Idaho, and old farmer had bought it new is 1984, had it ever since. Only had 67k on it. Runs like a champ now that we fixed the glow plugs. Smokes a little until it warms up, I'm wondering if it spent too many hours idling around the ranch!

We dig diesel engines, once we saw it was diesel we just had to have it.
