Anyone like Football???/

, I hope thats a stupid question, I am counting down the days to college football season, 25 days to go til the Longhorns start their season,,,,,just hope Simms can do the job, but I'm not holding my breath, I have not been too pleased with his performances and I'm sorry to see Applewhite go... .....



What about the Houston game last night, I don't watch NFL much anymore due to the overpaid whiners and gangsters, but the new NFL commercials put me in the mood for football season to start,



Commercial #1 - Rams QB (Kurt Warner) sittin in the locker room and says, if it wasn't for football, you'd be joining fantasy boy band leagues, then one of his big linemen, select Joey from N'Sync, cracked me up... .



Commercial #2 - can't rmember who it was, but said: If it wasn';t for football you'd be sittin around with your friends watching paid infomercials and his football buddy starts cuttin his hair with a Flowbee



Funny commercials... .



I may watch the Houston Texans this year, maybe they will fill the emptiness left behind friom when Jerry Jones bought my Cowboys and ruined them for me..... I can't root for them anymore, and haven't since he bought them,,,,,,,,shame...

Sorry... football just doesn't do anything for me. I watch it on Thanksgiving Day and New Years only because I'd have to spend all afternoon with the women at our family get-togethers if I didn't

sorry, not a big fan of either football [brittish and american] didn't much like hockey until the last olympics either. most of the sports that i do watch are motorsports [rally, F1 cart, nascar, scca... no irl for me though. . they are crooked. . tracy should have won the 500, but they gave it to the other guy. after that race, i will not watch the irl crappola]...



... and i sometimes watch curling and snooker. .



but most of my free time is spent on the 'net

Football is the only sport I can really get into anymore.



Baseball has just gone the I TRIED TO BY-PASS THE CUSSING FILTER over the years. Those guys are just interested in making more $$$$$. Basketball just really doesn't do it for me either ( I would tell you why but it would get me booted off the Forums)



As far as college football goes I like any of the SEC teams. They really are great to watch. I don't have a favorite team though I just like watching the games.



Pro Football is easy. The Cowboys all the way. I've been a fan since I was about 5. I didn't care much for them when they got rid of Jimmy Johnson but I've since forgiven them.



I also got to root for the home team, the Colts and I like the Saints for some reason.



I absolutely can't stand the Falcons. #@$%! I don't know why, I just don't like them.



I can't wait till September.

Ever since NFL Sunday ticket came out (94-95???) I haven't missed more than 2 or 3 LA/STL Rams games. If I am doing something else on sunday then I tape the Rams and watch later. I am a huge football fan. I like to watch small fry, college and arena league but prefer high school football and the NFL.
