Competition Truck pull in Jesup, Ga this year?

the production of those engines around the world probobly has something to do with the diesel shortage wouldn't you think

 How do you start an engine that big?

with smaller ones :)

Hell, on locomotives, they need 18psi of boost to IDLE. The turbos are gear driven at first until enought air is moving to sustain an exhaust driven turbo.

Now apply what is needed to get a 20 cylinder locomotive to run to something that runs a freight ship.

that engine is started with air

by that I mean High pressure Air 450 psi is let into the combustion chamber and timed with the engine the air is let in on the power stroke of the diesel cycle and that engine is a 2 stroke with no valves
