Anyone need a good 93 4x4 complete frame?

I would like to know if anyone is in need of a 93

4X4 complete frame, I just stripped the bed off and have been robbing all the parts for my ramcharger conversion.

Also have a good cab and most of the front clip.

Hey Thierry, my '90 4x4 was in an accident on the 19th of January. I need to wait for another week or so for the police report so I know who to go after to get the money to fix my truck. I will be cutting up the frame in 2 weeks to take to the dump, shame as this now make 4 frames to the dump. With the problems with cracked frames, I was hoping to some one may need this.

Core Support????

Hey thierry, do ya got the core support outa that truck? I would imagine you are probably using it in your conversion, but doesn't hurt to ask. If so, I would consider driving out and picking up the frame and all... ... ... ... .

Sorry keeping the core support for the Ramcharger conversion, everyhting is done except waiting for the motor to come back from rebuild, then drop it in put the trans and transfercase as well and then think about driveshafts.

I was going to do a Cummins into a Ramcharger myself until I was told by the air quality bureaucrats that it would be illegal... a heavy duty engine (over 8800 gvw) into a light class vehicle (ramcharger or 1/2 ton) is not allowed. Federal law.



I thought they have lots of smog checks in CA, no? We have to get gas and diesel smogged annually here, but on a diesel they don't even open the hood to see what engine is there... they just put the sniffer in the tailpipe... so if your vehicle originally came with a diesel (say, an 80's diesel Blazer) you could get away with putting a Cummins in that, I guess.



Just wondering, 'cause I'm jealous!

Scott, There are no smog checks for diesels in California, at least not yet, which is surprising with all the tree-huggers here. Just my opinion.
