I know of a source i can obtain 18 new unused takeouts for $6000 each. the problem is i have to buy all or none. I would love to have one of these but dont need 17 spares :D

any ideas?? any takers?? someone have $102K they would like to invest? for 17 new engines to play with?

they are new HPCR's ?#$& :D

unused, not test engines or anything like that. take outs from new vehicles. I'm not sure of the type vehicle they were out of. all inclusive and i believe i read ECM's as well.

i was just trying to see what the interest is in these! if they are hot items it may be worth my while to arrange getting them. from here i have to actually contact the owners and talk with them. but first i have to pay for thier contact info.

I'm interested...

Hello Todd,

I am interested... I would like more info. I understand these are the new HPCR engines. If so, I would like to make an offer to purchase all 17 of them.

Please let me know if we can make a deal on all of them.

Thanks.

Most Cummins distributors can sell you a new ISB 24 valve Dodge application engine for about $6K. There is one draw back, the engines are new not rebuilds but have no warranty. The engines come complete: wiring harness, ECM, starter, Fly wheel, battery cables (no grounds), Fuel Sys, engine mounts, oil and filters. They are a true drop in engine, the only thing missing was the A/C and Alt. What happened, I was told, most of all the new engines that were in warehouses for distribution for the Dodge dealers were send back to Cummins when the 03 came out. A few were kept for warranty purpose. Cummins does not want to have them in their warehouse so they are selling them to the distributors in the same way they got sold to Dodge, NO WARRANTY. At work we have done two engines, they had all the new up-dates that were made while they were at the warehouses. I been thinking of buying one but I'm in the process of trying to get a 4X4 3500 to turn into a service truck and my 2500 is a 12 valve. Call your nearest Cummins Distributor and not a Cummins Dealer for more information.
