You may also want to get ahold of TDR member LSFarm. His shop is up near Holly and from what I hear he does excellent work. FWIW

This is an easy one...

Get a hold of TDR member LsFarm. He will take care of you. His work and customer service is top notch.

How far are you from eastern Iowa? I would highly recommend Dave Goerend Transmissions

He built a 47RH for my 95 CTD, shipped it to me so I could install it. Then I sent the other one back. Everything worked great and he is a very helpful guy with information.

xtreme Truck n Trailer in Three Rivers, MI Hawks transmissions are built out of there. Very resonabley priced. Ask for Nate... www.XtremeTNT.com will get you thee info. They probably already have one built and ready to g, just do a core swap!

Sorry I did not read this whole thread. I believe this is the guy that works out of Xtreme Truck N Trailer. His Trannys are awesome. Bully Dog uses those Trannys in almost all of their Dodge trucks I believe. HE specializes in Mopar.

You can contact D Hawk here in the TDR he owns HTS and I am sure he would be glad to talk to you. They build a pretty bullet proof trans most of the guys around Grand Rapids and lower Michigan are running his trans . Here is their number 616-897-6237 If you want to take a ride to see what a good trans feels like get a hold of me I live south of Kalamazoo near the Indiana line

I don't know anybody running this trans. Not to say that it is not a good product but until today I have only heard of him one other time. What kind of HP is in front of these trannies?

Jack Williams near Stroh, IN put my GB in. He's also a DTT installer. Let me know if you want his phone number and I'll dig it up for you.

D Hawk and his dad have been building racing Tourqueflites for years they were avid racers before this diesel thing took off. He seems to be on the cutting edge of the technology using the best componants he has brought over from his drag racing expierance.

If you get a chance to make it to Martin Dragway on one of the diesel drag weekends you will see that almost half of the Dodges in the field will be running an HTS trans. And if you go to any local pulls there will be several there too. And in either case the trucks that are running them are usually the faster or better pullers in the events. I don't know how much HP I am making but my truck is running in the mid to high 12's and weighs 7200#. If you use some to the drag racing HP formulas for HP and weight found on the net you can get an idea. I don't know if it is all that much HP or just the ability to put it to the ground.

Toolman9304,

Thanks for the info. You are running a Suncoast TC? Does Hawk not offer a TC of thier own?

Yes I am running a Suncoast Pro lock it is a great converter most of the top drag trucks are running them and HTS has never had a problem with any of them. When you put one in it is like a new truck, you step on the peddle and it just goes.
