Any of you TDR Old Timers remember Ben Mann from the early days? He helped develop some of the very first electronic boost foolers for the 24v and also sold some injectors and whatnot. Very nice guy who was a TDR member but hasn't been on the board since at least 2001.
Since I had talked to him a number of times via phone & email back then I thought I'd shoot him an email last night. Hadn't talked since 2001 but he was a real nice guy and I enjoyed our conversations.
I heard back from him today and things are not well in his world. He had some sort of accident and was in a coma for 56 days. Said he basically died twice. He is still recovering. He had hip replacment surgery as part of what happened. His email was brief which I'm sure is because of the condition he's in.
I wanted to post this for whoever remembered him from the early days so you can keep him in your thoughts and prayers.
