Anyone run a cutout on 24v?

I am thinking of running a QTP electric 4inch cutout right after the downpipe. It allows you to open or close it from in the cab. Here is a link to the 3. 5 model. Any thoughts on this? I am running the new 600 series CTD and it seems to have a 4" exhaust and straight through muffler, so short of a 5" this might be the best option.

Sounds like a cool idea, something I've always wanted, loud when I want to hotrod around, and quiet on the highway.

looks cool, the 4 inch would be great, but the $$$, ouch for just fun really, although it would be great when a ricer pulls up, and just flip that switch, and paint thier door handle with black smoky goodness

The price seems cheap compared to what you would have to spend in an exhaust system to get the same performance. Does anyone have the specs on the 2004. 5 exhaust. IT looks like 4" but I am not sure.

Excellent idea. I am seriously thinking of doing it. Our factory exhausts are fine, its just the muffler that is the big restriction.
