I was just curious if any one is runin the D-Celarator exhaust brake, pac brake,BD brake, which do I need for my 03 dodge automatic,I :-{} have a DTT transmission?

Had one on my 03 i just sold. worked great altho everyonce and a while it would not "release" because of the switch mecanism that integrats with the brake pedal. Simple enough adjustment but annoying.

Only negative with them is trying to get support from them is next to impossable

I believe the latest PacBrake model employs a valve in the butterfly that opens at 60 lbs. pressure rather than having a hole in the butterfly to bleed off excess pressure. My understanding is that this valve allows higher back-pressures at lower rpm's resulting in a greater braking effect at low rpms.

I believe the BD brake uses this technique, also.

I'm sure that TDR member JELAG could explain this better.

Happy E brake choice

Have been very Happy with the Banks. Now 3 years old. Has the warmup feature that closes the butterfly until engine temperature reaches 140*. Post turbo EGT tap also!
