Lots of 3rd gen trucks have broke'em. Might try posting the question there.



I got rid of mine long before it had a chance to break.
 
I beet the snot out of mine & turned it all kinds of colors also & it never let go. 38 to 40 psi all the time for about 6,000 miles.

We removed Andy's turbo last night, I can get some pics of it for ya...





I want to see if someone has actually beat one that badly!
 
I ran mine up to 50 a lot. Had it about 30,000 miles, never busted. Dynoed 375-980 with it too. It sure took a beating for what it was designed for. :rolleyes:
 
I broke mine. Just had an EZ at the time. Bearing failure that lead to impeller trying to enlarge it's opening. Lot's of metal and lots of noise!

Would this have anything to do with the one that you just sold? Turns out that the turbine housing was broken through the wastgate seat.
