Probably a better place for this post is in the General Diesel, but technically it pertains to the 2nd gen trucks.

I was down in N'awlins this past week and happened to see a commercial in which GMC compared their truck to Dodge's new "Mayor of Truckville. " Obviously, they were talking about the 2002. The add says something to the effect that they took a closer look at the "Mayor" and of course they weren't impressed.

But GM really was pathetic in this commercial because, though you only get a quick glimpse of the "Mayor," you realize that it isn't the Mayor at all! Yup, it was a pre-3rd generation model truck.

Get real GM!

Do they still say something about the GM having 4 wheel disc and the Ram not. They had been saying that long after Dodge had put 4 wheel disc on the Rams.

I think any company that has to put down another to sell thier product, must not have that good of a product itself.

I feel the same about all the political ads we see every two years on TV, and hear on the radio
