Anyone tried a 315/70R17 as a spare?

Has anyone tried fitting a 315/70R17 tire up in the spare location? I haven't stuck my head under there to see if one will fit between the frame rails and all. Thanks. .

How tall are the 315's you put on? Are they the same as a 315 75 R16? (about 34inches tall)



Do they rub when you turn? Did you level your truck up 2 inches?

Once mounted, they come out to about 34. 5" (on mine anyway)

Like Duck said, check that thread. . But quickie answers - 34. 5", no rubbing at all, and I haven't leveled it yet (but will for looks, the tires fit fine as is).
