I was surfing the web the other day and ran across these headlights. Found them on LMC trucks website. They are Euro Projector Headlights, part # 56-6906. A friend with an '02 dodge bought a set and said they made a big difference at night compared to his stock ones. Was wondering if anyone has tried these headlights and if they are worth buying. I'm sure anything is better than what we have.

They look just like our stock ones. They say this convex lens projects the light farther down the road and reduces glare. They also come with HID bulbs.

Thats interesting but I have serious reservations about anyone that tells me it "has a cool blue look". I'll let someone else try it out first.

Well, it really doesn't give you that blue light. I think they are just trying to give us an idea of what the lights will be like, comparing them to the blue lights you seen on a lot of BMW's and lexus cars.

I did see my friends truck the other night and they did shine the light farther down the road like they are supposed to. Of course this is on an '02. I might order a set to try them out. When I do, I'll give a report back as to whether they are worth the money or not.

I just put the upper right set in my '98. I love the projector low beam, but the low and high beams don't match each other very well. If you adjust the low beam level, the high beam is high. Conversely, if you adjust the high beam level, the low beam is low. I'm going to try to shim the projector beam housing to better match the high beam, but it won't quit snowing here long enough for me to get around to it.

The lights are much better than my stock lights, which are notoriously bad, but I don't think they are better than the stock lights in my GF's '05. If you want to try them, look on ebay, these lights are all over ebay at much better prices. I paid under $100,including shipping, for mine from a scratch/dent/open box guy.

I was driving home in the rain last night -- and it was down-right dangerous (because of the crappy lights on my '03). No wonder my 16 yo daughter is scared sh**less to drive my truck in the rain. I don't see any clear solutions on the horizon either for the 03/04 lighting shortfall.
