Changing injector nozzles?

By chance is anyone running a larger turbo with the C3. 2? The reason I ask is that I've noticed that when I tow heavy if I hit a grade that requires me to hold it to the floor to maintain speed and the rpm's are below say, 2400, my egts sit right at 1125* with 26 lbs of boost and never move. But at the higher rpm's the egt's climb fast. To me that says not enough high rpm airflow due to the tiny exhaust housing on the turbo and not just the fact that it's duration without timing. I've noticed the same thing just hot rodding around without the trailer. If I just use the monster low end torque and stay away from the 2500 rpm+ range egt's never pass 1150*. Doesn't that scream bigger turbo?

Bigger turbo but at I believe at 2600-2700 the pilot injection shuts off and doesnt help with the EGT issue. As for the bigger turbos, these duration boxes are spinning the bearings and snapping the shafts (TST says they have had 15 reports of turbos breaking and all of them were higher flowing aftermarket ones such as HX-40's and even B1's!) No one is sure of the reason for these duration boxes doing this but testing is being done as we speak to get the best turbo for this appliction.
