Hello all, Im in the process of buying a brake controller for my vehicle. I was thinking that Im going to get a draw-tite activator, until I saw the brakemaster brand. Has anyone used it, and do you like it. The brakemaster plugs right into the factory harness under the dash, I dont tow alot so this would be nice to remove and install. Thanks, Joel

That's what the dealer installed in mine. Part of the deal. It works good. Only problem I have with it is if flatbed is empty, I lock up the front axles cause there is no weight on them. In other words, the controller won't adjust to a low enough setting so I end up pulsing the brakes empty to keep from locking up. Now loaded, it's adjustable to any way I want it. It does OK. The shop that installed it for the dealer said he has never had one come back because of a failure. I hope mine is one of those.
