Had driver pass me on left @ highway speed 65 mph then immediately pulls into right lane then slammed on his brakes:eek: . I was towing my 33' fifth wheel at the time and had to react fast not able to take time to look in drivers mirror to see if left lane clear for me to go left.
This fine upstanding fellow comes to almost a dead stop, mean while my foot is doing the Fred flintstone foot work on my break pedal. Thankfully I was able to bring my rig down in speed not rear ending this friggen idiot. My guess is he's one of those that do the insurance scam of claiming oh my neck, oh my back, I need a new Cadillac & I get sued as well as ticketed. After that incident I decided to look into dash cams.
Sooooo - anyone use these? If so any recommendations as to a decent brand, model?

I have been running one for about 4 years now, it has saved my but twice with incidents on our fire department. There are soooo many different brands and models out there. I started with a $20 one off EBAy, worked so well I bought 6 of them to had out at Christmas. Mine went bad after 3 years, mount broke. I bought the Cobra brand from Cabelas, it was $100 off the shelf, but I had a gift card for $75. Been running it for a year, works well.

Ive been using one of these the last few years and I love it.
