Anyone useing RP synchromax in there G56

Thinking about using Royal Purple Synchromax in my 2005 G56 and the transfer case. I would like a little thicker oil than ATF. Any thoughts?

I switched over to Amsoil ATF+4. Mercedes requires ATF+4 for sound reasons I assume. Marginal improvement in shifting with Amsoil. This is the easiest shifting truck transmission I've ever experienced.
