Anyone using autometer ultralites?

Just wondering if anyone has any feedback on the autometer ultralites? wanting to put the egt/boost/trans temp guages on the a-pillar. I did a search but didnt really have any luck. Once i get the gages "let the bombing begin".

YES

I have three of them, pyro, boost and trans. temp. I really like mine, but I did have some problems with the pyro. and trans. gauge fogging at first but they replaced them with the new anti-fog and they work great, I allso have a friend that runs them and likes them.

I've got them too... no troubles at all! I have boost and temp, and the amount of light they emit is just right for me.

The ultra-lites look sweet, I installed a set on saturday, the customer's wife like them so much she wanted a set on her Durango. :D No question they are awesome looking.

Thanx for the replies. Im gonna order the set and a-pillar mount this week . Now just to find someone who sells them in the great white north. I saw another post concerning dimming , so im gonna hook them up through the cigar lighter. Im not sure whether to get the 0-30 or if there will ever be a need for the 0-60 or will it be overkill.

I have them. Pyro, Boost and Fuel Pressure on the A Pillar. I think they look awesome. I had my pyro fog up, but have a new one now. I got them from Advanced Diesel Technology. www.smokindiesel.com Great people to deal with.

I have the Ultralite pyro installed (the Boost and Fuel Pressure gauges are still in the box waiting to be installed). I'm very satisfied with mine. Be advised that installing the 3 gauge A-pillar mount may require significant modifications to your current A-pillar if yours has the speaker option. I would suggest ordering a replacement A-pillar from dodge (w/o the speaker option) and replacing your factory one with the new one (my 3 gauge A-pillar mount fits over the factory A-pillar instead of replacing it entirely). A significant portion of my pyro install was spent modifying my factory plastic A-pillar so that the new 3 gauge A-pillar would fit.

Got mine from Geno's and I'm happy to see i'm not the only one that has a foggy pyro. I also got a boost gauge that's stuck on 5lbs. I ordered a phantom series fuel pressure on accident. I'm going to replace both pyro and boost with the phantom cause it's easier to see at night. just my . 02

DooDad, if you're planning on Bombing your truck even the slightest, you'll be glad that you got the 0-60. I have just the Hot PowerEdge on mine and see 29psi on level 1 and 37psi on level 3.

I bought one of the custom 0-50psi Ultralites from Genos a little over a year ago.

I have one Autometer Ultra-lite 2 5/8" gauge, mounted on the hood (Fuel pressure/pre-filter). I like it alot and so far it has withstood the elements, we'll see how it fairs after a winter.

Autometer Gauges - Ultra Lites

I had mine installed this past Saturday by TS Performance (270-746-9999) in Bowling Green, KY (GREAT GUYS) and really like them a lot. The only draw back is at night. The gauges come with green and red rubber light covers and I initially went with the green covers over the lights. It made it really hard to see the red needle so I removed them so that they are white. They are still somewhat difficult to see at night but I really like them. I noticed on Sunday that the Pyrometer fogged but it hasn't done it since. If it does I will give Autometer a call to get another one. So far so good. I went with the Pyrometer, Boost, and Clock. If I add the fuel pressure gauge I will mount it to the steering column. BTW: The Autometer Clock is AWESOME.

Just a NOTE: There will be trimming to your factory pillar if you mount your like mine was mounted (ON TOP). This required removing the tweeter section of the factory pillar and laying the autometer one on top. Drilling 4 holes and using plug to attach. Very NICE.

Edge EZ and JRE on the way... . :D;)
