I was just wondering if those of you using CatchAll Xtreme 'floor mats' are pleased with your purchase? They look kind of nice but upon further scrutinization the semi-smooth floor of the tray-like shape appears as though it would be akin to having your feet in a shallow swimming pool once the snow on your shoes or boots melted.

Any thoughts?

I have them in my '01 quad cab. They were in there when I bought it so I don't know about price. However, I really like them. The molded shape stays in place and has good coverage. We really don't get snow here, but I've never had any problems with water or mud accumulation. It's also really easy to remove them and shake them out. Usually, I can pour or shake them out without spilling anything in the cab.

I love my Catch-All Extremes. Yes, in a sense you do have your feet in somewhat of a puddle at certain times, but I have found that these floor mats do no leak onto the carpet below contrary to many other types; and they have never been slippery for me. As for the water that puddles up, either I use an old rag to mop it out occasionally, or I make sure to wear winter shoes. Never have a problem with water accumulation in them in the summer, and the fit is perfect.

John,

I have had the molded Catch All mats in my 2001 since new, just installed a new set at 215K. Not sure if there are two lines or not? Maybe they are all extreme?

Anyway, I haven't had issues with being in a pond, BUT I usally dump them out daily, sometimes more often, best floor mats I have ever used.

CatchAll Xtreme mats

I installed a set last year in my MegaCab and believe they are superior for coverage, fit, material quality, and perhaps most importantly - "cleanability". I live in the Idaho mountains where snow, slush, mud and dirt are constant, and the CatchAll mats keep everything collected in the mat surface. The rigors of various hunting trips, having a small child (is that a chocolate milkshake on the floor? ) and gooey mud have yet to penetrate the CatchAll defenses. Yes, the mats do pool liquids (especially when we track in lots of snow), but it never spills onto the carpets, and the liquid can be pretty easily removed either by tilting them towards the doors, removing the mats, or taking a shop-vac to them. I think the best part of these mats is their easy clean-up. Just hose them off (soap never hurts), or for a light-duty clean-up, I vacuum then wipe up with a light degreaser such as Simple Green. I liked these mats enough to install another set in my wife's Pilot. They aren't cheap, but they appear to be a worthwhile long-term addition to any vehicle. My two cents...
