Chrysler to be auctioned off! (Hyundai?)

Funny Dodge commercial

I just started service with VOIPYourlife a few days ago. $24 a month for unlimited local and long distance dialing. My phone bill (Girlfriend talks a LOT) used to be 100 bucks a month. Now I have a "local" Ft. Wayne number (her mom lives in Ft. Wayne) and a "Local" Saint Pete Fla. phone number (my dad lives there). For now I am keeping my local local phone as I have it on my resume but it will soon be gone as well. Even with two phones my total bill is less than $50 a month now.

The only requirement that I know of is you must have broadband internet. I still have use of my home network, we just "share" the bandwidth and the few calls I have made were crystal clear.

There is no contract to sign and no service termination fee to pay if you don't like it AND they send you this little gadget to connect for free as well.

The company is out of Oklahoma and when I called them I got a guy named Jack whose FIRST language was English!!!

So far I give em 5 stars.

I've had Vonage for about a year. It works great! The only difference I can see(or hear) is that there is about a 1 second delay when you answer the phone. If you say "Hello" immediately, the other person may not hear you.

I tried Vonage, but it wouldn't work with my DirecTV Tivo box. That was a must for me. I now have unlimited LD on my landline for $10 / month (plus standard local phone charges) with Qwest.

we have our home phone via rogers [cable tv, cable internet, home phone, 3 cell phones] and it seems to work ok. at times long distance does not work [international calls] or when it does work, the quality is poor, but i have not experienced it as i never use the land line. [heck, i average ±10min a month on my cell]

We've been using Vonage for a few months now. A few idiosyncracies here and there, but overall it's been all good at $18. 95/mo. No local area toll or long distance charges. Of course, the downside is loss of service if power or internet service goes out. Hasn't been an issue for our family as we are well connected with cell phones as well.

Oh, one little tidbit . . . . with VOIP, 911 emergency calls may or may not show the originating address.
