Anyone using the Bully Dog " Torque Dog"?

Does anyone have experience with Bully Dog's "Torque Dog" chip? My dealer is offering them, and willing to put into writing that my Chrysler/Cummins warranty will not be voided/affected. My service writer says he's had a lot of good feedback on the chip.



Also, how about the Tornado Air Filter kit?

isnt the bully dog torque dog a rebadged diablo powerpuck?



if it is then it should do a good job.

i like my power puck. 169 lb ft torque increase. good low rpm pulling power. egt went down slightly. fuel milege went up slightly. 2 minute plug in. should have got one ages ago.

MuddyMess: I've never heard of the Diablo Power Puck, so I have no idea if it's the same thing rebadged. I take it from your reply that if it is, I'll be happy I did it.



RangerRick: My dealer is in Nampa Idaho (Peterson Stampede). They are charging $599, plus $30 installation.



IF, repeat, IF, I do get it, I will have the written guarranty of it not affecting or voiding my warranty BEFORE I get. My service writer (Todd) claims that it is the only chip APPROVED by Daimler/Chrysler. If I do, I'll be more than happy to post the letter for all to see.

when you get the box/puck, save the 30 bucks for installation. do it yourself. it is just a 2 minute plug in. should have pics in the instructions. check message.



plugs in right by the pump.



i doubt todd knows what he is talking about in regard to the bullydog puck being dc approved.



if not, dont worry about it. with the quick plug in unplug, and the fact its mounted on top the fuse box with velcro, just remove it when you go to a dealer for work.



youll love the power gain and wont want to be without it.

I think this is the Egdes EZ box.

It plugs in the three wire plug towards the front right at the injection pump and also at the MAP sensor, which unplugs and this plugs in between.



AS far I as I know DC doesn't have any plug in boxes approved. ?!

it appears that there is a couple choices from bullydog for fueling/timing boxes now.



the cpc is a va box.



the torque dog, from the picture appears to be the puck.

As I understand it one company makes it 5 put their names on it.

Diablo powerpuck and Bully Dog are two of them.

Bob Riley sells Diablos. I believe he knows all the companies that have their name on them.
