Hi everyone. I was looking at that product advertised in one of the diesel mags and was interested to find out more about it. I did a search on the forums, but no results. If any of you have it and use it, please share your opinion on it. Was it easy to install, and does it do a good job of keeping the engine oil clean? Thanks.

Are you serious? Did you get the single or dual filters? I always thought the Amsoil was going to be a lot more expensive. I will look into that one too. Where do you tap into the oil with Amsoil? Thanks.

I am running FS-2500 filtration on both my engine oil and trans. I really can't give any feedback other than that the product is a very well made high quality piece, and the install is very clean and straight forward. If it does what they say it is well worth the expense, after all what are your motor and trans worth to you?

They say that their product will filter to 2. 87 microns absolute, which removes all of the most damaging particles in the 4-9 micron range. I believe and correct me if I'm wrong that Amsoil will filter to 2 microns, but not 2 microns absolute. In other words it can stop some 2 micron particles but not all of them. Does anyone know the absolute rating on the Amsoil?

Go to Amsoils web site, they have a model for different year Dodge's with the Cummins. I have not installed it yet. Im a dealer so the price listed might be higher.

The Amsoil EaBP filters (the bypass filters) are rated at 2 micron @98. 6% (which IIRC, is also "absolute")...

quick ?

nevermind the initial cost of the system...

whos filter elements are cheaper and more available

The filters for the FS... they are around $20/each now IIRC?? I think they just increased them a little while ago...

The Amsoil's are around $30 to $40/each, depending on size... cheaper if you are a prefered customer... they are good for twice your normal oil change... but I have more than 20k on mine now with no signs plugging.

Both filters are only available from the manufacturer...
