nathan or airchime are the big brands on the loco's... i've got a single trumpit of each. they sound very similar to each other, but i have rebuild parts [diaphragms and seals] for the airchime so i think i will use that...
 
If you do a search of the archives I think there are some members that have done this. I think there is even pics of an installation -- if my memory serves me-----what was the ? :D

Actually it says 152 dB!

Nathan Airchime K3LA is what I use. The K5LA is the same horn with two additional chimes. Most modern locos use the K5. Some freight trains run the K3.
