Anyone wanna trade their automatic truck for a 6 speed?

Since the 2005 models were delivered with the NV5600 and G56, you might want to specify which transmission you have. Good luck.

Mine has the nv5600. Definately wouldn't want the G56. Too low for me. I wish they made something with higher gears.

Why don't you like the 6 speed, if I didn't already spend the $6000 on my transmission I would have traded for sure!!!!

Not really looking to trade straight up, but I would for the right one. Just figured I would trade by what each truck books for plus any mods. Thats the fairest way to do it. I have always had a 6 speed, so I wanna build an auto or trade for one already built. I know I'll wish I had the 6 speed back as soon as I hook my bobcat to it, but I'm gonna try it anyway.

dtygart. I know were laughing now, but I may just ake you up on that if my injectors end up taking my engine out. I do Love the 3rd gen for ease of upgrading and making big power, but their a long way from being as reliable as the old 12 valve. I've owned several 2nd gen trucks and I really didn't like the auto in them. But I am getting anxious to built on of these 3rd gen autos. I love driving my wifes. Maybe I should have gave her my 6 speed and kept hers for me . I think we all know that wouldn't have went over smooth.

Guys, I appreciate all the trade offers. I've been thinking about it for a few days and I really would rather have the same truck I got, but an auto. So if anybody has a 3500 DRW 4wd laramie that is black, please let me know. I'm going to the dealer next week to try and trade for one, but it probably won't work out. I would consider a 2500 if it is black or any truck that already has a built auto in it. I know thats a long shot, but desn't hurt to try. Thanks
