2nd Gen Non-Engine/Transmission anyone want to convert their 3500 to single rear wheel?

I've got a '97 2500 5sp (3. 54 Dana 80) with 16x8 Eagle alloys and 265 all terrain tires with less than 10k miles on them.



we're putting a flatbed on the truck, and I've been toying with making the truck a dually.



anyone want to trade some parts?

That would be a sad, sad day... ... I don't think I could do that to a 3500.

I found this at one of the local trailer yards:

Not the most attractive unit compared to some aluminum units, but looked quite sturdy. He quoted me approx $1400 for the unit complete, approx $2000 installed.

That is the same brand I have on mine. They are heavy and solid built, they are all so made 30 miles from me. I really like mine even if it is the older style.
