Car door lock question...

And they wonder why we hate the dealer's service......

There is a private ranch in Clearmont Wyoming near Sheridan that will let you hunt, kill and take all parts you want for $600 no licence required, I have been splitting the meat with a friend for 3 years now, buffalo meat is lean and good for you. low colesterol. The herd is corn fead too. Buffalo skulls are cool and the tanned hide makes a great bed spread :)

For $2,450,000 you can shoot all the Buffalo you want... I did a web search on the RBL Ranch and it looks like the 3,500 acre ranch is for sale.

I could have shot one (actually two) for nothing when they broke down the fence and mosied over to my place. Course', that would not have been real neighborly of me.

As far as a chase I think you would have to have your partner go make him mad with his truck first, buffalo are a strange animal , they arent scared of anything so they just stand there , kinda like shooting a beef :p but they wont get away from you either.

As far as pounds of meat I cant really say  , never payed attention to it but I bet its about like a big cow, buffalo have small hinds and large front quarters .

cheers, Kevin

Of course, depending on the size of the cow/bull, one can expect anwhere from 750-1100 pounds of meat. When we go, we bring those large marine coolers, and cram them full. I have heard of taking a deep chest freezer and putting it in the back of the truck or a trailer.
