Guys, I've been ALL over the net for hours... ..... and can't find anything on this issue: I won a small claims case against a guy that assaulted me back in 1996--won a few hundred bucks. Unfortunately, his ex-wife beat me to the garnishment of his wages.
Basically I thought I'd wait a long while then renew the judgement, and someday go after it. Well, turns out he's found ME, and wants to cough it up. BUT, I can't find anything about what interest rate I use to calculate the interest over the past 5 years. I'm in Oregon, and one website said Oregon uses the T-bill rate plus 4%... ... ... OK, but is that the current Tbill rate for the past 5 years, or what? Appreciate any input if anyone has ever dealt with something such as this. Can't find squat on the net, and I've been on here tonite for hours!
Thanks!
