have only had my truck for a couple of months and usually keep it in the garage but a couple of weeks ago it came one heck of a rainstorm and the back of the rear seat got soaked, the window leaked where the outside of the two sliding glass pieces meet the stationary pieces, at the rubber molding. has anyone else had this problem and were you able to do anything about it? thanks, Chris... ... ...

The leak on my 98. 5 was comming from the third brake light gasket. I resealed the light problem solved. Try that before you go after the slider.

Just like Diesel Dick said!!! Mine leaked at third brake lite gasket. . put silscone ( clear) no futher problems.

Third brake light here too. I thought about the clear silicone, but I thought it might be very hard to remove once it was applied.

third brake light on mine

Thanks to some TDR members on this site I didn't have to go to the stealer. Just a small amount of silicone on third brake or cargo light (as some call it) gasket and no more leaks. Try that before you worry with the window itself. Bet it works! LOL

I noticed water inside the cab when washing the truck the last couple times. I just assumed it was from hitting the rear window with the water hose.

My cab light is leaking too. Thanks!
