approaching 36K

I am rapidly approaching 36K on my '03 so i'm getting paranoid about little things (wanting the DC warranty to cover something, not my extended warranty). I've periodically had the overhead "computer" read dashes at start-up and not clear back to numbers unless the truck is shut down and restarted (the odometer, however, continues to work). Anyone else see this? (the compass works, no Est to MT, avg mlg, etc) Is this normal or something to have them check on? Is is a sign of some impending doom?

Mines done that a couple times. Thats all I can say about it.

Mine does it occassionally. I call it the "blank stare". Minor bug... and I doubt the dealer would do anything useful to it. I don't think there's any TSB or anything about it.

Complain about it and ask them to call STAR and see if any reports and repairs in the D. C. file/memory etc.
