apps cable

I am putting a brand new crate motor from cummins in an 03 dodge. This motor has a build date of 12/09/2002. It is and isb 250hp. The previous motor was a isb 305hp. The apps sensor is under the battery box on the truck, The new crate motor has it mounted on the motor. My dodge dealer can only find one accelerator cable listed and it is the cable for the apps under the battery box for 03. They are both hpcr engines. Everything else looks identicle. Any ideas on getting the correct cable. The factory 03 manual shows both setups, but refers to them as early model and late model. Anyone have a very early 03 with the apps on the engine. It mounts like the 01s and 02s did. Thanks.

My 03 is a very early build (first delivery to dealer) 305 HO with the apps on the engine, what can I tell you?

Original engine had 123,00. It dropped exhaust valve on #6 and busted the head, busted the cylinder, piston and injector. Not pretty!
