I am getting P2127 codes on my 06. It just started a few days ago. Yesterday it really game me a fit surging and bucking. I want to try the APPS connector first and be sure its not just a connection problem. Can anyone tell me where APPS connector is located on my truck?

Also I'm vacationing in the Myrtle Beach SC. Any Cummings repair centers around here?

AE, thanks for the help. After about 5 minutes I figured out how to unplug the connector:). (I'm getting too old to bend that way!).
At any rate I unplugged it then reconnected. Nothing looked unusual, so I suspect my problems may return but this is a good start.

I noticed that the unit itself had a snap-on cap. Is it ok to remove the cap and spray with contact cleaner or is it a sealed unit? I understand it is only a rheostat voltage divider that sends a signal to the computer. I've fixed many a similar devices using that method, but I know nothing about this device and don't want to mess with it without advice from others who have experience with it.
